Women over 40 years old never looked so fabulous! Yesterday, Naomi Campbell walked in the Atelier Versace Couture Fall 2013 show, Penelope Cruz is the new face of Lowes Fall/Winter 2013 campaign and Nicole Kidman is the face of the  Jimmy Choo Fall 2013 Campaign.

Shot by Mikael Jansson, Kidman was asked to portray a strong, seductive and solitary figure who viewers catch in the series of private moments while showcasing Jimmy Choo shoes and accessories.

“I really enjoyed being able to play a role that was strong, sexy, and in control,” Kidman said. “I got into a relationship with the photographer, and Mikael is very intuitive; he knows what I am thinking and feeling and is able to translate it through the camera.”

I don’t know why I signed up to receive Neiman Marcus emails. Every week I lust over a designer collection!  So of course, being that Jimmy Choo is one of my favorites, there was no exception when it came to the new Spring Collection.

The collection features a variety of offerings (flats, heels, wedges) that are appropriate for any occasion. Of course, I fell in love with the heels and there were a few flats that caught my eye.  The shoes are offered in a various patterns and textures including floral print, animal print, sequin, suede and patent leather.

Love!! Wait ‘Til I Gey My Money Right…

This morning I was watching the view and Charlize Theron was on the show to promote her new movie Snow White and The Huntsman. When she walked out I immediately drooled over the shoes she was wearing (not literally, but I was in love). I tweeted that the shoes were fabulous and Christina on twitter asked “Where do I find them??”

When I saw the shoes, I had a feeling they were by Jimmy Choo. After a little research, my intuition was correct!  Theron wore the Jimmy Choo GAIL leopard print sandal from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection. The shoes are on sale for $767 HERE.  They are also available in blue suede at Saks Fifth Ave.

These shoes are HAUTE! I want…

Last Friday, Jimmy Choo tweeted pictures of its Spring/Summer 2012 photo shoot.  As expected, the collection is fabulous. The handbags are full of bright colors and amazing textures.  And there is a pair of coral LETITIA pumps featured in the picture below that is speaking to me!! *swoon*

While Jimmy Choo didn’t share too many pictures from the photo shoot, they were just enough to tease and spark an interest to visit the website to view the entire collection. While there is one or two that stand out, overall the shoe collection is underwhelming. Since it is early January, let’s hope they have more shoes to add to the collection for me to drool over.  The handbags on the other hand are gorgeous. I love the color of the clutches and day bags.

I saw someone tweet about the new Jimmy Choo “Ellie” Wedge Platform Sandal Boots, so of course I had to do some investigating.  Let me just say, these shoes are BAAAADDDD! The nude 5 1/2 inch wedges are made of Italian leather with a patent leather platform.

As we all know, nude is one of the biggest Spring trends and has become the new black so these shoes will go with anything!  Take a dress from day to night by pairing with a colorful mini dress or maxi dress. These wedges will also look great with a nice pair of jeans (skinny jeans to really show off the shoe) or shorts this summer.  For those of you ladies who can afford to snag these $1,495 shoes, the 1 3/4 inch platform, padded insole and back zipper add the necessary support and comfort we all seek from a fabulous pair of high heels.

I have seen the Jimmy Choo shaded exotic snake multi strap platform sandals in various magazines, so I decided to go to the website and check them out for myself.
